Register newly. It will ask customer ID and bb id ( service id ) which is available in you monthly phone bill. Provide them.
login with the user name and password which you used to register in.(If you are experiencing any error ,then it is because the bsnl databases haven't been updated yet.So don't worry just wait a week or two meanwhile check a rough value of the usage with NETMETER )

once logged in click services. It will open one mone page with three tabs. by default the tab opens is catalog.
click the service tab. It will list the services available. Click the 'Check My Broadband Unbilled Usage Details' link. "

Any one from BSNL , Please Respond to the quieries rised by number of consumers regarding the Broadband usage checking.dont frustrate us , if u guys dont have the facility,Please say it explicitly.And feel ashame to be part of BSNL.Try to publish it immediately.i think you all are geeting salary , and eating it that mony only.
in so many BSNL broadband exchange the officials are lacking in basic computer knowledge.they acting as a typical government(doing with out BRAIN)....The user ID used to view your account(usage details etc) is different from ID using to connect the in your modem.Example .... usually(not all cases) net connection ID using in modem is like this --> va4272000222. In this 'va' is first two letters of your name.'427' is your STD Code.'2000222' is your landline number.you can see it in your modem portal i.e 192.168.1.1
(use it causiously..changing settings in this may result in
problem to connect the net).
User ID to view your account is like this --> vas34512092009. In this 'vas' first three letter of yr name,'345' serial number in yr exchange,'12092009' date of activation of yr net connection.You should get this ID from yr exchange.For both ID the default password is --> password.Use the second ID in www.data.bsnl.in to view your aaccount in full details.........give your feedback to drgeethan@gmail.com

oh man!!
never had this problem with bsnl.. but always feared it. i got a msg on my phone about the usage for the month.. it said 1091 mb till 21st of this month. which is fine, but today when i checked online for the usage, it says 2913mb. but i have a software on my comp which measures every kb of usage.. i have free night downloads on bsnl from 2 am to 8 am. but i am afraid the night usage has also been accounted for the past two days. Now my monthly usage limit is only 2.5 gb. So i guess this month the bill will be exceedingly the usual monthly fees... which i am not willing to pay...
i really hope bsnl can avoid such blunders.. lets see.. i hope to take this issue to a senior person in bsnl.. and hope he or she can help solve my problem..!!

sir,what is going on , you do not have any control over billing, sending ficticious bills when i have limited fixed use.
Your account usage can be checked on www.selfcare.sdc.bsnl.co.in
If you do not have an account, you have to register first and after registration, u will get a confirmation call. I am awaitig the call..
And though you can login within a few hours from the time of your registration, you cannot check your account unless you've received the confirmation call.
Even your free downloads (for example, those between 2 and 8 am in case of Home 500 plan) are shown in the usage data, they are not usually added in your bill. So, dont panic Adnan..
Attention of every B/B user.
I saw my usage on 27-5-2008.start time 12-36-28 end time 12-36-29.That means duration only 1 second.see up load 50906 and down load 244222 total 295128 kbps.That means 288 Mb in one second!!!!!.I wrote this to bsnl.No relpy.This month I made a usual chat with my son but reading is 250 Mb.Prviously for similar duration maxmum 12 Mb what a surprise?
It is a bad coception in the bottom of the heart and mind of the comman man that, government emplyoees are not working (as per comment of Ms.Theresa Mathew).It is high time, you to change your mind set and look in to the real world and feel yourself the nature of work involved & engaged by the government through the employees. Todayit so hapened i am unable to find the account usage detail from the site; there is no site for so, and we don'tlike to disturb always the staffs of bsnl over phone. let the bsnl people see this and find a solution. thanx.

which should take you to bsnl portal and give the user name and password. user name is the account name created by bsnl when they first gave you the bradband connection. for example username will be like 'sk_saxena' and if you are located in bangalore the password will be 'bansks123' (if you haven't changed it)'ban' is the first three letters of your city 'sks' is the first thre letters of your username(ignore the _) and '123' common for all. Hope this helps.

I can not check broadband usage in dataone.in website by giving portal id& password. My question is "is there any server problem of bsnl?"Pls.
to check usage we need to get portal id from bsnl.
this is different from the user id which was provided at the time of broadband modem installation.
i called 1504 and got my 14 digit portal id, password is 'password'.
this works.
I have been using bsnl dataone service for the past 3 years. I have since been using bsn portal to check my account usage, as i have a limited plan(home 250). When I login in bsnl portal, a page appears showing various links for users from different cities. As I click on my city link(Bhatinda), a page opens namely http:// www.ndc.bsnl.co.in, where I am asked to fill my account details. But on filling even the correct account details(portal user id and password), I recieve the message of 'User Authentication Failed'. Please HELP!!!

I want to know internet usage, earlier i used to know by entering portal ID and password in data.bsnl.in, but today it is loging but not showing any usage. I could not find the portal. It is very bad
I am in the Home 500 Combo plan and changed to Home 623 unlimited plan. BSNL took 2 days to change the plan and they say that I have down loaded 13GB in just one day, when my son was using the net for sending job application and they are charging me Rs. 1100/-, after giving me 20% concession as I am central government unemployed pensioner. It is really shocking to me. I am not able to check my BB usage as the portal is not working. When I high speed SSNL internet service with (512 kbps) 750 plan, allows for unlimited down load costs only 750 pm, how can the download by a student on a single day costs Rs.1100/ ?. BSNL is adamant on reducing the bill and not providing records with sufficient proof.. Can any one suggest me how to file a consumer case against BSNL in the consumer court.

Why do you make division among citizens? what is the difference between private and government employees?They get salary from common man's tax ,whether they work or not nobody bothers.where as private employees work hard day and night for a minimum wages and no cosideration from anybody not even from the government.20% reduction on broadband services to government employees are totaly intolarable to any common man in india .Government services should be profitable to all citizens
